Engagement Announcement from the Decatur Daily
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Allen Putnam of Decatur are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Dora Putnam, to Jack Fite Lovelace, son of Susan Fite Lovelace and the late Mr. J. Steve Lovelace, of Decatur.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas Wallace and the late Mr. and Mrs. T.E. Putnam.
Miss Putnam is a 1998 graduate of Decatur High School and a 2003 graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. She is currently employed by the Decatur City Schools as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher at Woodmeade Elementary School.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Jack Patterson Fite and the late Mr. Fite and Mrs. John William Lovelace and the late Mr. Lovelace.
Mr. Lovelace is a graduate of Decatur High School. He received a degree in General Studies from Calhoun Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Education from Samford University, and a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is employed by Nations of Coaches and is the vice president of Character Coaching in Decatur.
Vows will be exchanged July 13, 2013 at Stephenson Chapel at First Baptist Church in Decatur with Rev. Roger Adams officiating. A reception will follow at Burningtree Country Club.
